Synopsys Lib Compiler vT-2022.03

Synopsys Lib Compiler vT-2022.03

In this course, you will learn details of the Library Compiler of technology library and liberty. You will learn the creation of physical library and its characterization data. Multiple detailed modules will cover library module file structure, library creation guidelines with physical library preparation as well as fusion library creation.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

At the end of this course you should be able to:

Library models of function, timing, low power, test

    Understand guidelines of library creation

    Requirement and check for library

    How to prepare physical library

    Creation of fusion library

The target audience of this training model are ASIC, front-end, back-end, or layout designers who will be using Prime Time, Design Compiler NXT, Formality, IC Compiler II, and Fusion Compiler tools of Synopsys.

While prior knowledge of Physical Design is not needed, knowledge of general (non-tool specific) standard cell-based library creation concepts and terms is helpful.

An understanding of basic digital ASIC design concepts is assumed, including:

    Combinational and sequential logic functionality

    Setup and hold timing

    Low power

    Advance nanometer features

    Function Modeling

    Timing Modeling

    Low Power Modeling

    Modeling for Test

    Library Creation Guidelines

    CCS Modeling

    OCV Modeling

    Advance Node

    Library Analytics

    Physical Library Preparation

    Fusion Library Creation
