It will read the correct %UGII_BASE_DIR% from the Registry and apply the update to the NX 9.0 folder. 4. OR, you may follow the instructions below to run ugs_update.bat directly. Change directory to the 'ugs_updateXXXX' folder, check that UGII_BASE_DIR is set to the installed NX 9.0 folder, then execute the 'ugs_update.bat' script. e.g. cd ugs_updateXXXX ugs_update.bat /v The use of UNC pathnames (e.g. \serverpath) is supported by both ugs_update.bat and run_ugsupdate.exe. This will turn off the script confirmation prompts. Useful for running the update in a batch job. The script also supports a "/p" switch.
