The RFEM finite element calculation program is a powerful software used for fast and simple modeling, structural analysis, and design of 2D and 3D models composed of rods, plates, walls, composite plates, shells, and solids. Due to the modular concept of software, the RFEM main program can be combined with corresponding additional modules to meet your personal needs.
The RFEM structural calculation program is the foundation of modular software. The RFEM basic program is used to specify structures, materials, and loads for planar and spatial structural systems, which consist of panels, walls, shells, and rods. You can create composite structures, as well as simulate volumes and contact elements. The RFEM program calculates strain, internal force, stress, support response, and substrate contact stress. Additional modules simplify data input by automatically creating structures and connections, or can be further analyzed and modeled based on different standards.
With a wide range of interfaces, RFEM provides perfect interaction with CAD and structural calculation programs in Building Information Modeling (BIM). For example, there is bidirectional data exchange between RFEM and Tekla Structures, Revit Structures, and Bentley ISM software.
